Once upon a time, a silk and wool puppet show was something that I observed with deep longing from my seat in the audience, and I yearned for access for myself and my children. Though such an opportunity was generally beyond my means, I sought a connection with artists and philosophers who aligned with my deep sense of the effects of beauty and natural non-materialistic belongings on children. Through the givingness of willing and generous mentors, over the years I developed my own hand at these arts. There is a kind of community that forms around the arts, a circle of those with a common vision for and understanding of the well being of the world’s children. It is my joy to pass this on.
